Pick performance is shaped by the details. That's why we design each pick right down to the precise math of each arc and the exact radius of each bevel edge. To ensure every pick meets these specifications with precision and consistency, we've developed our own custom cutting tools and computer-controlled milling process. The result is a collection of picks designed to exceed expectations and deliver the same exceptional experience every time.

Founded in Petaluma, California, Token was born of a love for music and a quest to focus intensely on one small part of it. With decades of product development, material science, and manufacturing optimization experience, we offer a unique approach to making picks. Grounded in our own love of picking and refined by collaborations with guitar and mandolin players from all around, we’ve created a suite of individually machined picks that brings joy and inspiration to our customers. We hope you’ll join our family of Token pickers.
Token offers the only fully machined speed-beveled pick and the only pick made from compression molded Green Torlon.
Token picks are individually machined by computer-controlled milling machines, then tumbled to a satin finish.
Token picks come in three high-performance thermoplastics, polyetherimide (PEI), polyetheretherketone (PEEK), and polyamide-imide (PAI).
At Token, we use materials like EQ knobs. You can choose Amber for bright trebles, Tan, for a rounder mid-focused tone, or Green for a surprisingly loud and rich tonal experience.
Yes. All three materials are highly durable and our Green material is extremely wear resistant.
